Per Diem Physical Therapist – Samaritan Hospital, Troy, NY
Are you looking for a flexible **Per Diem Physical Therapy** position with an outstanding healthcare organization? This could be your opportunity! **Weekend availability** is primarily needed.
What You’ll Do
As a Physical Therapist, you will provide **direct patient care** and integrate all elements of patient/client management—including examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, and interventions—to maximize functional outcomes. You’ll document treatments and progress according to professional and organizational standards, and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team treating patients with conditions such as CVA, SCI, LE Amputation, Orthopedics, and Cardiopulmonary disorders.
Key Responsibilities
+ Develop comprehensive treatment programs based on patient history, condition, and functional status
+ Prioritize patient care needs and assess rehab requirements across the continuum of care
+ Provide timely recommendations for disposition, equipment, education, and treatment
+ Complete all documentation in compliance with professional, organizational, and regulatory standards
What You’ll Need
+ Graduate of an approved Physical Therapy program (BS, MS, or Clinical Doctorate)
+ Current **NYS Physical Therapy license and registration**
+ Minimum **1 year of Physical Therapy experience**
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
Compensation
+ **Per Diem Rate:** $50/hour
+ Experience-based pay range for Full-Time&Part-Time: $37.60 – $47.60 _(Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under FLSA will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.)_
