    Our client, a leading logistics and manufacturing organization, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Inventory Department supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, physical stamina, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Material Handler

    **Location:** Jamaica, NY

     

    Pay Range: $17.50 - $18.50/hr

     

    **Shift:** 1st Shift 6:00 AM-2:30 PM,

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Implement and maintain systems for efficient material handling and storage.

    + Operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials onto and off trucks.

    + Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials listed on production orders.

    + Prepare finished materials for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, and loading products.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any material-related issues or discrepancies.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or related fields.

    + Proficiency with basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.

    + Experience with data entry and inventory management software such as Epicor CRM.

    + Ability to operate equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, or reach trucks (certification preferred).

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
