Manpower Engineering is partnering with a successful global manufacturer of commercial and residential HVAC components and systems that is currently hiring for a Heat Pump Engineer who will provide solutions for water source and geothermal heat pump designs for products ranging from 0.5 to 60 tons of cooling. This role will work both with project teams and independently to produce designs for HVAC systems based upon laboratory safety standards, building codes, and current market demands.
Job Title: Heat Pump Engineer
Pay Range: $85,000-$95,000
What’s the Job?
+ Perform HVAC system design evaluations and provide system solutions
+ Create, conduct, and support test plans for unit rating, performance, and reliability testing.
+ Support product design, bill of materials, modeling, and final assembly development.
+ Lead and support specification, selection, and qualification of materials and components
+ Lead and support root cause analysis & problem solving implementation from start to finish.
What’s Needed?
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
+ Minimum 3-5 years of experience in heat pump engineering or related HVAC field
+ Skilled in design software package (AutoCAD, SoldiWorks
+ Familiarity with HVAC technology and its integration with heat pump systems
+ Experience creating bill of materials and in final assembly development.
