Our client, a leading manufacturer in the sports industry, is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting product development and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to innovation, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Sr. Mechanical Engineer

**Location:** Greenville, Illinois

What's the Job?

+ Designs cabinet structures for housing electronic components and assemblies

+ Develops large display systems with a focus on serviceability, manufacturability, and quality

+ Performs calculations to ensure compliance with building codes and site-specific installation requirements

+ Uses theoretical and practical knowledge to verify the integrity of mechanical designs

+ Creates detailed drawings, Bills of Materials, and manages design changes effectively

What's Needed?

+ Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience

+ Strong background in sheet metal design and CAD software proficiency

+ Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor, and Vault

+ Ability to perform stress/load calculations for large cabinet assemblies and installations

+ Experience programming CNC and turret punch presses is preferred
