Job Title:

General Laborer – Food Production

Shift Information:

+ **1st Shift:** Morning

+ **2nd Shift:** Afternoon

+ **3rd Shift:** OvernightYou will be assigned to a shift, but schedules may vary depending on plant processes and production needs.

Job Summary:

Reports to the Production Line Leader. The General Laborer is a key position that will be trained and monitored on food production plant operations. This role assists machine operators and works as part of a production team performing tasks such as food depositing, de-panning, icing, cleaning, and other duties as assigned. Must follow all safety requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Primary Responsibilities:

+ Prepare production lines for shift operations and operate machinery/equipment as trained.

+ Assist with troubleshooting production or packaging lines when issues arise.

+ Communicate problems to the Production Management Team.

+ Maintain teamwork and help meet/exceed production standards.

+ Follow attendance policy and maintain professional appearance.

+ Comply with all safety, quality, and organizational policies.

Required Skills and Experience:

+ High School diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).

+ Food or manufacturing experience preferred (training provided).

+ Attention to detail and ability to detect product issues.

+ Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

+ Physically capable of performing job duties.

+ Flexible to work various shifts, including weekends.

+ Must understand English.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

+ Ability to wear PPE (gloves, safety glasses, safety shoes, aprons).

+ Ability to work in extreme temperatures (-20°F to 100+°F).

+ Ability to work extended hours and rotating shifts.
