    Our client, in Consumer Goods industry is seeking an **R&D Assistant (Science)** to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a Science Degree, some lab experience and team playing mind set which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    Job Title: R&D Assistant

     

    Contract: 6 Months (extension possible)

     

    Salary Range: $25 - $29 hourly

     

    What’s the Job?

     

    + **Provide lab support** for Regional Operations, including evaluation of commercial products, new launches, cost improvement projects, and supplier approvals through performance and stability testing **.**

    + Interpret lab test results and document findings, ensuring compliance with SOP/GLP protocols for product registration and regulatory submissions.

    + Support production startups and quality improvements, respond to consumer complaints, competitor challenges, and legal inquiries related to product technical matters.

    + Manage laboratory operations, including inventory, equipment maintenance, and execution of work according to safety and quality standards.

    + Prepare technical reports and maintain clear communication with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives within established timelines.

     

    What’s Needed?

     

    + **BS degree in a related science**

    + **Entry Level: 0-2 years lab experience; some lab experience helpful, stability and batching skills desirable**

    + Interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment, including cross-functional Project Teams involving members from Marketing, Supply, Manufacturing as well as R&D.

    + Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills (oral and written) for effective collaboration and accurate reporting.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects within timelines, adapt to changing priorities, and work independently with self-motivation.
