    Our client in **Monroe** , Ohio is looking for experienced Tape Edge Machine Operators who understands that quality matters!

     

    Qualified candidates will have in depth knowledge of Tape edge sewing machinery. They also need to have sound hand-eye coordination.

    What's in it for you:

    + Hours: 1st shift 6:00 am to 2:30 pm : Monday - Friday

    + Mandatory overtime on the weekends as business demands (typically on Saturdays)

    + Pay: $18.00 per hr

    + Clean and safe work environment

    + Contract to Hire

     

    What's the job?

     

    + Ensures proper fabric tape is used per label description.

    + Operates leg-clutch to stop and start sewing machine.

    + Feeds materials into sewing machine as the tape edge machine is pulled around mattress. Re-threads machine as needed.

    + Ensures quality standards are maintained.

    + Corrects any defective taping on mattresses.

    + Changes the needle and binding tape for the machine as needed.

    + Maintains clean work area and follows proper safety procedures. Sweeps floors as needed.

     

    What do you bring?

     

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    + 1 year of Tape Edge Machine Operator Experience

    + Good eye/hand coordination

    + With assistance must be able to lift, push, or carry mattresses

    + Ability to interpret and support standards, policies and procedures

    A post offer pre-employment drug screen and background check are required.
