As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, with awareness of the unique needs of a technology-focused location.

+ Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas, following established protocols for a tech, media, and telecom environment.

+ Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines.

+ Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel when necessary, supporting a secure environment for the location.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff, visitors, and contractors.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have at least 1 year of armed security-related experience, law enforcement experience, or military experience.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Hold an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.

+ Hold a Level III armed certification if applying in Texas.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
