As a **Security Guard - Armed Government Campus Patrol** in **Miami, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed personnel.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned location, including both the premises and its perimeter.

+ Monitor for and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns within the property.

+ Assist in helping to deter unauthorized access and/or criminal activity through visible presence and professional conduct.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency response teams as required by site protocols.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations during each shift.

+ Follow all company and site-specific policies regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.

+ Participate in ongoing training and briefings to remain current with site procedures and security-related practices.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least two years of security-related experience is required.

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as per client requirements.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
