As a **Security Guard - Armed Patrol Driver** in **Hookerton, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence at a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, interact professionally with staff and visitors, and contribute to a secure environment. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter, remaining alert to any unusual activity.

+ Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and/or other security-related equipment as required for the post.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Document and report any incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client guidelines.

+ Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuation or lockdown procedures, as directed by site protocols.

+ Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public, providing information and assistance as needed while upholding Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Have at least 6 months of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
