What You'll Do:

+ Control access to the location by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals.

+ Monitor and operate access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.

+ Provide customer service by assisting visitors and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.

+ Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to observe and report any security-related concerns.

+ Document and report any irregularities, incidents, or suspicious behavior according to established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
