As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, interacting with staff and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and around its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activities, or maintenance concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with healthcare staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.

+ Support a welcoming and orderly atmosphere while remaining alert to any potential security-related concerns within the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ At least one year of security-related experience is required.

+ Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.

+ Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
