As a **Security Officer - Unarmed Weekdays Day Shift** in **Malvern, PA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will interact with clients and visitors, deliver outstanding customer service, and contribute to a secure environment, all while embodying our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed personnel.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the financial institution to help to deter unauthorized access and protect assets.

+ Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate authorities and/or management.

+ Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and vendors, providing assistance and information as required.

+ Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.

+ Remain prepared to respond to emergency situations, including those requiring the use of armed response, while following all applicable laws and company guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience is required.

+ You must be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
