As a **Security Officer - Media Patrol** in **Fort Myers, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with visitors and team members, delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations according to established protocols.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Monitor access points and observe for any unusual activity, reporting findings as required by site procedures.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during patrols.

+ Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns and support the overall security program at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
