As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, check credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.

+ Verify credentials and screen individuals entering and exiting the premises to support security-related procedures.

+ Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and delivery personnel with access-related inquiries and directions.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific policies and procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and support site-specific security-related protocols.

+ Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or unusual circumstances according to Allied Universal and client procedures.

+ Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including following evacuation or lockdown protocols when required.

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
