    As a **Security Guard - Armed Government Site** in **Los Angeles, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond promptly to situations, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.     Pay Rate: $26.81 / Hour

    Job Schedule:

    Day** **Time

     

    Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

     

    Thur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

     

    Sat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

     

    Sun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

    What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and protocols to assist in resolving issues.

    + Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and to observe for any unusual conditions.

    + Monitor access points and screen individuals entering or exiting the premises to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order.

    + Document and report security-related incidents, activities, and observations according to established protocols.

    + Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed during incidents or critical situations.

    + Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances and provide assistance to staff and visitors as needed.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

    + Possess an armed guard card or license.

    + Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

    + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
