As a Prime Video technologist, you’ll have end-to-end ownership of the product, user experience, design, and technology required to deliver state-of-the-art experiences for our customers. The Prime Video Personalization & Discovery team is seeking a talented Senior Manager of Product Management Tech with Personalization and Recommendations experience to help deliver superior experiences to Prime Video customers worldwide.
You will own a substantial portion of the product strategy and vision, and develop product roadmaps to execute on that vision. This role is inherently cross-functional; you will work with engineering, science, project management, design, operations, finance, legal, business development, customer service, content acquisition, and executive teams to optimize the Prime Video Personalization & Discovery customer experience.
The ideal candidate should have thrived and succeeded in hiring and developing great teams and delivering broadly adopted technology products or services in a high growth environment. You should be a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly, and understand how to drive a high level of focus and excellence. You should have keen business sense and also have developed a deep understanding of technology. Qualified candidates have experience defining products, mapping requirements to engineering functional specifications, leading large cross functional and cross organizational efforts, and successfully delivering complex products and services at high scale.
Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of team management experience
- 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
