The AMER Security & Loss Prevention Field (SLP) Team is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead the design, development, and implementation of world-class security and loss prevention solutions for its newly emerging Quick Commerce (Amazon Now) business unit throughout the AMER region. Reporting to the field organizational leader for AMER S&LP, this role will serve as the subject matter expert for launching Amazon Now sites, establishing all S&LP programs from inception, and acting as the primary liaison between Worldwide Operations Security (WWOS) solution & services teams (e.g., E2ESC Solutions, Secured Services, Physical Security, Operational Excellence & Risk Management, Risk & Resilience, technology partners, Field Investigations), S&LP field teams, and operations. The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for designing standard work and security-as-a-service models for remote field SLP support, developing tactical field support frameworks, and defining service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure 72-hour response times for general support and 4-hour response times for high severity incidents. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to identify operational gaps, diagnose security vulnerabilities, and implement sustainable solutions. This role is located in Illinois, Texas, or Georgia and offers the unique opportunity to build the foundational security and loss prevention infrastructure for Amazon's emerging Quick Commerce business from the ground up.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead the launch and operational readiness of Quick Commerce sites across AMER markets, establishing scalable S&LP infrastructure from inception through steady-state operations
- Serve as primary S&LP liaison between Quick Commerce operations leadership, regional field teams, E2ESC Solutions, Secured Services, Physical Security, Operational Excellence & Risk Management, AESRM, technology partners, Field Investigations, and WWOS leadership
- Develop and implement a security-as-a-service model providing centralized S&LP support to Quick Commerce sites, including remote monitoring capabilities, shared investigative resources, and scalable response frameworks that maintain 72-hour general support and 4-hour high severity incident SLAs
- Establish and monitor key loss prevention metrics including theft rates, WIM rates, operational shrink, exit screening performance, and incident response times specific to Quick Commerce operations
- Design and implement Quick Commerce-specific dashboards and weekly business review (WBR) processes to track S&LP performance and drive operational improvements through data-driven insights
- Develop comprehensive investigation protocols and case management processes for Quick Commerce sites, including coordination with Field Investigations teams and case tracking systems
- Partner with technology teams to implement S&LP systems including CMS, exit screening solutions, access control platforms, and monitoring solutions tailored for Quick Commerce facilities
- Develop and deliver comprehensive S&LP launch playbook including SOPs, site readiness checklists, training curricula, audit frameworks, and compliance validation processes
- Design optimal S&LP staffing models based on risk assessment, operational volume, and business requirements; develop staffing ratios and role definitions
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments including external threat analysis, internal vulnerability assessments, and site hardening recommendations
- Develop and manage S&LP budget including headcount planning, capital expenditure requirements, and operational expense forecasting
- Establish audit and compliance frameworks to ensure adherence to S&LP policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Develop and deliver training programs for Quick Commerce S&LP personnel including onboarding, professional development, and emergency response protocols
- Work cross-functionally and cross-geographically with US and Canada stakeholders at all levels to support large-scale programs and initiatives
- Provide leadership, expertise, and technical/operational guidance to stakeholders and field teams
- Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, and balance business needs versus constraints
- Present ideas to senior leadership, remain receptive to feedback, and quickly apply changes
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of security and loss prevention roles, or 5+ years of security and loss prevention experience
- Experience in Incident Management, Threat Management, Corporate Investigations, Law Enforcement, Security Operations, Crisis Management or a related field that involves conducting threat assessments, workplace investigations, and/or incident response
- Proven track record of launching new programs or site types from inception
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Knowledge of project management tools and software
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma
- Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time
- Experience in security and loss prevention
- Experience working with data and analytics
- Experience with one or more analytics visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI)
- 7+ years of leading loss prevention and inventory shrink reduction experience
- Experience with security equipment such as intrusion detection devices, access control systems, etc.
- Experience managing S&LP operations in high-velocity, small-footprint facilities.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
