As a **Security Officer - Chemical Perimeter Patrol** in **Houston, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol chemical and petrochemical locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identifying potential hazards within a chemical or petrochemical environment.

+ Observe and report any suspicious behavior, security-related concerns, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.

+ Assist with controlling access to restricted areas and verify credentials of individuals entering the location, following site-specific protocols.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.

+ Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders during incidents and drills, supporting a coordinated response.

+ Adhere to all company and site-specific policies, procedures, and guidelines while performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
