Hours: M-F 40 hours flex
Pay Rate: $70,000 / year
We are currently seeking a Residential Program Manager for our Carmel, NY residential team! At Ability Beyond, the Residential Program Manager is responsible for overall provision of services and supports for assigned individuals in residential programs. This position oversees the delivery of the therapeutic service model, develops and implements treatment plans, and coordinates all services on behalf of Individuals served.
The Carmel program is located in a beautiful part of Putnam County, where we love to enjoy the outdoors! Whether it is eating out on the patio, tending to the garden or viewing the river nearby, we are always looking for ways to get some fresh air. Carmel has a total of 6 male individuals residing here, from ages 32 to 70 with various developmental disabilities. The people we serve in this program enjoy watching movies, going on outings to a restaurant or the mall, arts and crafts, gardening and playing videos. Our staff genuinely enjoy working at Ability Beyond and providing the best possible support for those who reside at Carmel!
Responsibilities:
+ Ensures that overall program quality and outcomes meet identified benchmarks and that services provided are tailored to their needs.
+ Develops and manages program budget within guidelines.
+ Facilitates each individual’s plan, increased independence, and enhanced quality of life.
+ Provides and/or facilitates continuous communication with individuals served, family members, conservator/guardian and interdisciplinary team.
+ Oversees direct care team, providing leadership and supervisory support.
Qualifications:
+ Associates degree or 2 years of college coursework from an accredited college in related human services field.
+ A minimum of 3 years of experience in human services with progressive levels of responsibility.
+ Supervisory experience is required for this position.
+ (Other combinations of relevant education and experience may be considered.)
+ Willing to work irregular hours and be "on call."
+ Maintain access to daily use of registered and insured vehicle.
+ Meet all requirements for Medication Administration Certification with first 90 days.
