We’re looking for a Maintenance Support Team Member to keep Sycuan Market, Deli & Gas Station running smoothly and looking great! Job Purpose:

The maintenance support team member will support Sycuan Market, Deli & Gas Station by providing friendly, efficient service to customers and maintains facility in good working order.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Cleaning restrooms to include; mopping floors, wiping down mirrors, refilling toilet paper, paper towel, and replacing trash liners.

+ Properly disposing of boxes, trash and other debris.

+ Provides customer service by acknowledging and welcoming customers as they enter the store in a friendly and courteous manner,

+ Providing customers with information and assistance as needed,

+ Thanking customers for their business upon departure.

+ Stocking and organizing store shelves, counters, walk-in coolers and cashier stations.

+ Displaying products in a visually appealing manner

+ Keeping aisle ways free of debris and obstacles.

+ Mopping floors, disposing of trash and cleaning trashcans inside the store and outside at the gas pumps.

+ Cleaning and monitoring sidewalks, parking areas, fuel dispensers, and canopy area.

+ Calling Casino for building repairs.

+ Assisting with traffic control.

+ Observing health, regulatory and safety policies and procedures.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications:

Education and Experience:

Essential:

+ 6 months customer service experience.

Desirable:

+ Facilities maintenance experience.

+ Convenience store experience.

+ Experience working with Tribal communities.

+ High School Diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent experience.

Skills and Knowledge:

Essential:

+ Ability to understand and follow written directions and verbal directives.

+ Ability to use trade tools.

+ Ability to stand and walk for up to eight hours at a time.

+ Ability to crouch, bend and stoop.

+ Ability to grasp and lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Ability to appear for work on time.

+ Ability to accept constructive criticism.

+ Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.

+ Ability to climb a ladder.

+ Ability to maintain professionalism and composure.
