    Responsibilities

    The Exercise Physiologist will coordinate all aspects of prevention and rehabilitative process for patients involved in the Cardiac Center including Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation.

    Qualifications

    Experience from a formal Cardiac Rehabilitation internship program preferred. Bachelors Degree in Cardiac Rehabilitation, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or Exercise Kinesiology required. Masters degree required within 5 years of employment.

     

    BLS certification is required within 3 months of hire. ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire. Exercise Specialist Certification through the American College of Sports Medicine is required within 2 years of hire.

    M-F Variable start time (earliest 7am).

    This position will be trained in Cardiac Rehab and also cross trained in Stress Tests.
