    Community Technician (Rockville) EVENING AND WEEKENDS SHIFTS AVAILABLE Maryland Treatment Centers Inc. is a growing regional behavioral health provider focused on clinical excellence, innovation, and scholarship. We are a thriving center for treatment of addictions and co-occurring disorders. We offer a full continuum of levels of care including inpatient, intensive outpatient, outpatient, outpatient mental health clinic. Maryland Treatment Centers, Inc. currently has openings available for part-time as needed Community Technicians who provide direct support and assistance to clients participating in our residential substance abuse treatment programs. Community Technician responsibilities include: * Supervising clients and enforcing boundaries * Leading psycho educational groups for the clients * Performing rounds and room checks * Performing breathalyzer tests and collecting specimens for drug screens * Answering the phone, greeting and signing in guests * Supervising medication self-administration * Other duties as assigned by supervisor * Must be able to work independently. Minimum Requirements: High School diploma/equivalent 1 year of experience in mental health/substance use treatment Bonus: Alcohol and Drug Trainee status Peer Support Specialist Certification Valid driver's license
