Medical Assistant

Job Description

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care. You will be responsible for preparing patients and equipment for exams, taking vital signs, and ensuring that all necessary information is gathered for provider review. You will also handle patient calls and messages efficiently.

Responsibilities

+ Room patients in exam rooms, including taking vital signs and history.

+ Prepare patients and equipment for provider examination.

+ Receive and manage patient calls and messages for providers.

+ Complete pre-visit planning and obtain necessary information and reports for provider review.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 2+ years of medical assisting experience

+ BLS Certification

+ Registration or Certification as Medical Assistant preferred, but not required

Work Environment

Work in a clinic environment supporting healthcare providers. The position requires a commitment of 4 days per week, with working hours from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Saint Paul, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $33.50/hr.
