Technician Helper in Nashville, TN
Job Description
Join our team as a Technician Helper, where you will be involved in crucial tasks such as pulling and running cable through ceiling tiles and installing low voltage cabling systems. You will also be responsible for lifting up to 50 lbs, moving and organizing materials, and using hand tools effectively.
Responsibilities
+ Pull and run cable through ceiling tiles.
+ Install low voltage cabling systems.
+ Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
+ Organize materials efficiently.
+ Utilize hand tools for various tasks.
Essential Skills
+ 1+ years of experience using hand tools.
+ 1+ years of experience in construction or wiring.
+ Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
+ Experience with low voltage installation, fire alarms, pulling wire, data cable, and termination testing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience working with low voltage cabling is a plus.
+ Entry-level motivated and eager to learn a trade.
+ Experience reading spreadsheets.

Work Environment
You will work in diverse environments such as commercial construction sites, industrial facilities, and existing commercial buildings including hospitals, schools, data centers, banks, and office buildings. All sites are vacant, and you will not work with live wires. Openings are available on traditional 1st shift (Monday - Friday: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm) and off-shift (Tuesday - Saturday with varied hours). The work primarily takes place in the greater Nashville area, and candidates must be open to commuting within this region. Initial reporting is to the office, followed by direct reporting to job sites.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $21.50/hr.
