Job Title: CNC Lathe Machinist** **Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Setup/Programmer for the 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have the expertise to perform full setups on CNC lathes and the ability to write and understand programs using G codes.

Responsibilities

+ Perform full setups on CNC lathes.

+ Write and understand G code programs.

+ Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial bores, surface testers, and thread mics.

+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

+ Record measurements accurately onto inspection reports.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of current experience in CNC lathe setup and programming.

+ Ability to program using G codes.

+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

+ Strong understanding of measuring equipment including dial calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.

+ Good math skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with blueprint interpretation.

+ Familiarity with machining processes and milling operations.

Work Environment

Work a 1st shift schedule from 6 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Thursday, and 6 AM to 10 AM on Friday. Some overtime is available. The role requires precision and attention to detail in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
