Job Title: Warehouse Worker** **Job Description

As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a vital role in packaging finished products for shipping, staging them for loading, and ensuring that products are correctly assembled and ready for delivery. You will also assist in maintaining inventory levels and counts, loading and unloading products, and performing quality control to ensure no damaged products are stored or sent out.

Responsibilities

+ Package finished product for shipping, including shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling.

+ Stage finished product for loading.

+ Check purchase orders and work orders to ensure correct product assembly.

+ Verify that the correct number of products are assembled.

+ Assist in inventory level maintenance and inventory counts.

+ Load finished products onto trucks.

+ Unload products from trucks and containers and stock them in designated areas.

+ Ensure quality control by preventing damaged products from being stored or sent out.

+ Operate and perform preventive maintenance on pallet jacks.

+ Train new employees on the job.

+ Handle inventory movement in controlled locations.

+ Prepare customer orders for delivery.

+ Provide support for other departments in the warehouse.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Experience working in a warehouse environment.

+ Ability to unload containers and handle inventory.

+ Motivated, hardworking, and willing to learn.

+ Attention to detail and ability to follow verbal instructions.

+ Ability to move and lift up to 50 lbs.

+ Comfortable working in cold temperatures, especially in freezer areas.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Open to entry-level candidates.

+ Experience with forklifts, RF scanners, and order picking.

+ Ability to perform packing, picking, and palletizing tasks.

Work Environment

Work in a warehouse environment with both dry and freezer areas, similar to a smaller version of a Costco setup. One of the positions involves working in sub-zero temperatures for 80% of the shift, requiring appropriate attire and equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brisbane, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.50/hr.
