    Forklift Operator (3rd Shift)

    **Location:** South San Francisco, CA

    **Pay:** $22/hr

    **Shift:** Monday–Friday, 8:00 PM – 4:30 AM

     

    About the Role

     

    We’re seeking a reliable **Forklift Operator** to join our team on the 3rd shift. In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing ingredients, packaging, and finished goods while ensuring product quality and food safety. You’ll support inbound, outbound, storage, and production work order processes in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices; complete receiving logs and store products in designated areas.

    + Ensure proper storage, secure areas, and accurate wrapping/logging of finished goods.

    + Allocate raw materials and packaging per production requests; complete system documentation for transfers.

    + Fulfill ingredient orders on time and accurately enter data into inventory tracking systems.

    + Load customer pickups and transfers to cold storage promptly before dispatch.

    + Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely; maintain certification every three years.

    + Comply with HACCP, GMP, sanitation, and food safety standards.

    + Report potential food safety or quality issues to management.

    + Maintain punctual attendance and contribute ideas for team improvement.

    Essential Skills

    + 1–3 years of experience in perishable warehouse operations or similar environment.

    + Forklift and pallet jack experience; valid certification and driver’s license.

    + High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written/verbal instructions.

    + Basic math skills and ability to communicate effectively with management.

    Preferred Skills

    + Computer skills and experience with RF scanners.

    + Familiarity with shipping, picking, loading, and unloading processes.

    + Growth mindset and willingness to learn.

    Work Environment

     

    This role is based in a bakery setting with exposure to warm, cold, and room temperature conditions. Safety, food security, and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are essential. Appropriate warehouse attire is required.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
