    Quality Control Inspector (Swing Shift)

    **Location:** Pittsburg, CA 94565

    **Pay:** $23 - $25/hr

    **Shift:** Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM

     

    About the Role

     

    Join a leading manufacturing team committed to quality and innovation! We’re looking for a detail-oriented **Quality Control Inspector** to ensure our products meet the highest standards. This is a **90-day contract-to-hire role** with a strong potential for permanent placement— **80% of contractors transition to full-time** .

    Responsibilities

    + **Quality Documentation & Reporting:** Maintain quality records, update KPI reports, issue corrective actions.

    + **Inspection & Compliance:** Interpret engineering drawings, inspect products, manage non-conforming materials.

    + **Collaboration & Communication:** Work with engineering, machine shop, and customers to resolve quality issues.

    + Support engineering with quality-related tasks and audits.

    + Maintain 5S implementation throughout the facility.

    + Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ year experience in a manufacturing/production environment.

    + Proficient with measuring instruments (calipers, scale, protractor, tape measure).

    + Ability to read and understand blueprints and GD&T.

    + Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    Preferred Skills

    + Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

    + Familiarity with quality management systems and audits.

    Work Environment

     

    This role is based in a manufacturing facility with a focus on collaboration, organization, and quality through 5S implementation. You’ll work closely with multiple departments to achieve company goals.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburg, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
