Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Quality Inspector for the 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in quality control and inspection, with a focus on ensuring the highest standards in product quality.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct thorough inspections using standard equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gages, bore gages, comparators, and surface layouts.
+ Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with GD&T standards.
+ Document inspection results, including first article documentation, using systems like Net Inspect and Discus.
+ Ensure adherence to industry standards including AS9100, AS9102 (FAI), PPAP, and PFMEA.
+ Maintain detailed records and reports of inspection results.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve quality issues.
Essential Skills
+ 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Inspector, with experience in aerospace, automotive, or medical device industries.
+ Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
+ Basic understanding of GD&T.
+ Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with AS9102 (FAI) and Discus is highly preferred.
+ Experience with Jobboss MRP system is preferred.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
+ Experience with first article documentation using systems like Net Inspect and Discus.

Work Environment
The Quality Inspector will work in an enclosed inspection area equipped with necessary tools and technology. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
