    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a Maintenance Technician who will perform reactive and preventative maintenance throughout the plant. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing equipment mechanically, electrically, and through automation systems to minimize downtime. You will work within CMMS systems, complete work orders using a tablet, and maintain GMP practices.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform reactive and preventative maintenance throughout the plant.

    + Troubleshoot and repair equipment mechanically, electrically, and through automation systems.

    + Work within CMMS systems and complete work orders using a tablet.

    + Maintain GMP practices.

    + Handle equipment such as evergreen filler machines, mixers, blenders, fillers, labeling machines, palletizers, pumps, motors, hydraulics/pneumatics, and conveyors.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with schematics, troubleshooting, and maintenance technician work.

    + Industrial maintenance experience, including preventative and corrective maintenance.

    + Experience in food and beverage industry, specifically with filler machines.

    + Mechanically inclined with electrical and blueprint skills.

    + Experience in hydraulics, repair, mechanical maintenance, and pneumatics.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

    + Strong mechanical experience with light electrical experience.

    + High school diploma or GED.

    + Previous food and beverage maintenance experience.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a mixture of climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled areas, with more non-climate-controlled areas that can be hot or cold depending on the weather, and some areas are wet and humid. Shifts run from 3:00 PM to 11:30 Monday through Friday, with frequent Saturdays and Sundays.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Dora, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
