    Facilities Maintenance Technician – Full-Time (Hampton, VA)

We’re hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support multiple buildings with basic repairs, preventative maintenance, and service calls. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem‑solving, and a steady Monday–Friday schedule, this is a strong long‑term opportunity.

    What You’ll Do

    + Perform basic building maintenance: plumbing, electrical (lighting, outlets), carpentry, drywall, and general repairs

    + Complete preventative maintenance tasks across multiple facilities

    + Respond to service calls using a **company vehicle**

    + **Work independently and with a team depending on the schedule**

    + **Communicate with customers, tenants, and internal teams**

    + **Enter and track work orders**

    + **Participate in an on‑call rotation every 4–6 weeks (weekend only)**

    What You Need

    + At least **1 year of facility, apartment, or building maintenance experience**

    + **Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry**

    + **Ability to read simple blueprints**

    + **Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills**

    + **Valid Virginia driver’s license**

    + **High School Diploma or GED**

    Nice to Have (Not Required)

    + HVAC experience

    + DIY, handyman, or home‑remodeling experience

    Work Environment

    + This role includes standing, walking between buildings, and lifting or moving items as needed. You’ll work in a variety of safe, climate‑controlled, and well‑kept facilities.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hampton, VA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
