Job Title: Project Manager/EstimatorJob Description

We are seeking a versatile Project Manager/Estimator to oversee all phases of construction projects, from planning and budgeting through execution and closeout, ensuring timelines, safety, and quality standards are met. This role combines hands-on project management with preconstruction estimating responsibilities, including take-offs, cost analysis, and value engineering to deliver competitive bids.

Responsibilities

+ Manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and closeout.

+ Perform preconstruction estimating tasks, including take-offs, cost analysis, and value engineering.

+ Coordinate field operations and manage subcontractor relationships.

+ Maintain accurate documentation and provide regular client communication.

+ Conduct financial forecasting and support business development efforts.

+ Contribute to proposals and bid strategies, leveraging estimating insights to identify new opportunities.

+ Review submittals and RFPs.

+ Communicate regularly with clients to set expectations, solve problems, and maintain relationships.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years in commercial construction project management or related roles.

+ Experience managing field operations, subcontractors, and project financials.

+ Strong client communication and organizational skills.

+ Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore, BlueBeam, and Building Connected.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in construction estimating and demolition.

+ Ability to review submittals and RFPs.

Work Environment

This position is primarily remote with occasional site visits to local projects, including the Port of Seattle starting in February, with monthly visits to further locations. The role offers the flexibility of working in a small company environment where you can wear multiple hats and grow your experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Renton, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
