Job Title: Material Handler** **Job Description

Join a dynamic team dedicated to processing specialty steel for a variety of industries, including agriculture, automotive, aerospace, medical devices, and energy. We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to contribute to our efficient operations.

Responsibilities

+ Locate and stage materials efficiently.

+ Utilize sit down forklifts, side loaders, and overhead cranes for handling materials over 35 lbs.

+ Accurately fill out necessary worksheets and work orders.

+ Label and return materials to their correct storage locations.

Essential Skills

+ 3-5 years of forklift experience, with sit-down forklifts preferred.

+ 2 years of material handling experience in a manufacturing environment.

+ Experience with warehouse management software, SAP preferred.

+ Strong attitude, drive, and attendance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with side loaders.

+ Experience operating overhead cranes.

Work Environment

Work in a metals environment that is loud due to multiple machines and saws operating simultaneously. Safety is a top priority, and the facility is clean, organized, and well-lit, though not climate-controlled. Shift hours are from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carol Stream, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
