    Job Title: Production Associate** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate responsible for the safe manufacturing of metal E Rings. This role involves utilizing standard measuring devices and gauges, as well as safely operating all manufacturing equipment involved in the process.

    Responsibilities

    + Manufacture metal E-Rings according to documentation and procedures.

    + Safely operate Planish Press, Belt Sander, Roll Form Machines, Polish Equipment, and Hydraulic Presses to manufacture completed parts.

    + Read and interpret work instructions.

    + Communicate with others on work order status and completion.

    + Perform assembly and inspection tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience as a Machine Operator, Assembler, or in inspection roles.

    + Mechanically inclined with supervisory experience.

    + Proficient computer skills.

    + Ability to read and write English.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma.

    + Basic math skills.

    + Ability to lift 25 pounds.

    + Ability to work in a team environment.

    + Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

    Work Environment

    E Ring Associates collaborate with Manufacturing Leads and Support staff, reporting to the Manufacturing Manager. The role demands frequent standing, walking, and the use of hands to operate machines and computers. Specific vision abilities required include close vision. Regular attendance and the ability to work cooperatively are essential. The position offers multiple shift options: 1st shift from 7AM-3:30PM, Monday to Friday with potential for overtime; 2nd shift from 3PM-12AM Monday to Thursday and 3PM-7PM on Friday; and 3rd shift from 11PM-7AM Sunday to Thursday.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Haven, CT.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
