Job Title: Extrusion Operator** **Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled Extrusion Machine Operators to join our team. This role offers a competitive hourly wage between $18-$22, depending on experience, with shift differentials for second and third shifts. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining extrusion equipment to ensure high-quality production.

Responsibilities

+ Set up, run, and break down product on equipment.

+ Read and accurately complete required paperwork.

+ Input data into the SAP system.

+ Monitor and inspect products to ensure they meet specifications and are free from defects.

+ Follow ISO documentation to satisfy customer requirements.

+ Maintain a clean working area.

+ Collaborate with others to ensure smooth production operations.

+ Prepare products for transfer to other departments as necessary.

+ Perform light maintenance on equipment.

+ Support and contribute to Total Quality Management and Environmental, Health, and Safety Management Systems by adhering to stated policies and procedures.

+ Work with management to enhance processes including ISO and lean manufacturing.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to train on the first shift.

+ Mechanically inclined with basic math skills.

+ Experience in industrial or manufacturing settings, particularly extrusion, is ideal.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Extrusion experience is a plus.

+ Cannot be colorblind due to the handling of color-coded wires.

Work Environment

The work environment is temperature-controlled, clean, and well-lit, featuring a spacious cafeteria-style breakroom. The position offers three shifts: 1st shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 2nd shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. with a 10% differential, and 3rd shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. with a 15% differential.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
