    Job Title: Service Plumber

    ***Location:** Des Moines

    ***Schedule:** Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm

    ***Pay:** $30-$40/hour

    ***Job Description:** As a Service Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems. You will diagnose plumbing issues and perform repairs on pipes, fixtures, and systems. The role involves servicing tankless and commercial water heaters while ensuring work is conducted safely and professionally. You will communicate directly with customers, providing high-quality service.

    *Responsibilities

    + Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems.

    + Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues on pipes, fixtures, and systems.

    + Service tankless and commercial water heaters.

    + Ensure all work is performed safely and professionally.

    + Communicate directly with customers to deliver high-quality service.

    *Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in plumbing, service, and repairs.

    + Experience with PVC installations and diagnostic testing.

    + 5+ years of experience in residential and commercial service plumbing preferred.

    + Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.

    + Excellent customer service and professional communication skills.

    *Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Residential and commercial plumbing experience.

    + Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of plumbing systems, including both new and older systems.

    + Experience with servicing tankless and commercial water heaters.

    + Valid Drivers License with Clean Record (company vehicle provided to drive).

    + Strong customer-service mindset and communication skills.

    + Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

    ***Work Environment:** This is a field-based role requiring daily travel using a company-provided service vehicle. Work independently while being supported by a collaborative service team. Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation. Maintain a professional, customer-facing environment with a clean appearance and respectful communication. Operate in a fast-paced service setting with a variety of job types, from new construction to older systems, including tankless units and commercial heaters.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, IA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
