Job Title: Electrical Instructor** **Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Instructor to lead and enhance our Journeymen Electrician training programs. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing training initiatives that meet state licensing requirements and ensure our apprentices and journeymen are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Responsibilities
+ Create key performance indicators to benchmark Journeymen Electrician training initiatives.
+ Coach, counsel, and lead apprenticeship training to meet and exceed state electrical licensing requirements.
+ Conduct electrical skill assessments to identify specific knowledge gaps, training objectives, and work situations.
+ Observe and evaluate electricians performing practical, hands-on electrical tasks to verify competency.
+ Ensure that candidates demonstrate the skills and knowledge appropriate to their level (apprentice, journeyman, or master).
+ Monitor testing sessions to confirm all safety standards and protocols are followed during evaluations.
+ Record assessment results, provide clear feedback, and recommend pass/fail decisions or areas for improvement.
+ Work with Human Resources to support hiring and promotion decisions based on verified skill levels.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Licensed Industrial or Commercial Journeyman Electrician with at least 10+ years of experience leading field crews.
+ Bilingual in English and Spanish (native or fluent).
+ Solid understanding of electrical systems, transformers, and electrical practices and materials.
+ Electrical training or certification according to NCCER, IEC, NFPA, and OSHA standards.
+ Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
+ Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Strong preference for Electrical Foreman and above level with prior training or teaching experience.
+ Strong preference for NCCER and NFPA 70E Certifications.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $93600.00 - $108160.00/yr.
• Personal Time Off (PTO).

• 401(k) Retirement: The Company provides a 100% match of the first 4% of employees’ contribution each year, to the plan. Eligibility is immediately following 90 days of employment.
