    Job Description: Manufacturing Technician

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble lithium-ion battery packs, modules, and power-electronics sub-assemblies.

    + Perform electrical, functional, and visual inspections on components and finished products.

    + Assist with production line installation and workstation setup as needed.

    + Use hand tools, soldering equipment, and test equipment such as multimeters and power supplies.

    + Identify and report defects, test failures, safety concerns, or process issues.

    + Accurately complete production and quality documentation.

    + Maintain a clean, safe, and ESD-controlled work area.

    + Ability to read schematics

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + High school diploma or GED required.

    + 3+ years of experience in electronics or manufacturing preferred.

    + Ability to read basic electrical schematics and assembly instructions.

    + Experience with soldering, wiring, ESD controls, and electrical testing preferred.

    + Knowledge of lithium-ion battery handling and safety practices is a plus.

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodridge, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
