The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Materials Testing, and Special Inspections across a broad range of project types. This position includes serving as the senior technical reviewer for reports prior to client delivery, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with applicable industry standards.

The organization supports a diverse portfolio of projects, including commercial, industrial, retail, government, office, transportation, and residential developments. The team is committed to delivering high‑quality engineering solutions and outstanding client service.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from initial planning through completion.

Perform and oversee special inspections and construction materials testing services.

Review, validate, and approve geotechnical and materials testing reports to ensure regulatory and client requirements are met.

Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and field staff.

Collaborate with project managers and clients to define project scopes, budgets, and schedules.

Ensure all project activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and client presentations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications

Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline.

At least 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and special inspections.

Strong understanding of industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Proficiency with relevant engineering tools and software.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Tampa, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $135000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
