Description
This role leads CNC machining processes, programming, tooling selection, and workflow optimization to ensure high‑quality, efficient production. It supports machinists through setup documentation, training, and process improvements while maintaining strong collaboration with engineering and quality teams. The position drives productivity, reduces scrap, and ensures machines run at peak performance. It also manages maintenance planning, capacity considerations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong communication, leadership, and technical machining expertise are essential.

Key responsibilities -
Program, set up, and optimize CNC mills and lathes; select tooling and improve machining processes.
Develop setup sheets, workflows, job travelers, and SOPs while training and supporting operators.
Analyze shop flow, reduce cycle/setup times, and recommend equipment or layout changes.
Ensure part quality through proper inspection methods and collaboration with engineering and quality teams.
Drive productivity, machine efficiency, maintenance planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
