Description We are looking for a meticulous and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Torrance, California. This role requires precision and attention to detail as you handle sensitive tax information and assist with various administrative tasks. As a fully onsite position, it offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to essential processes while collaborating closely with the team.

Responsibilities:

• Input tax-related data into spreadsheets with accuracy and efficiency.

• Identify and correct errors in data entries to ensure reliability.

• Print and distribute checks in a timely manner.

• Provide administrative support to the bookkeeper as needed.

• Maintain compliance with organizational policies during all data handling.

• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and achieve project goals.

• Organize and manage physical and digital files for seamless record-keeping.

• Communicate effectively to address discrepancies or clarify instructions.

• Uphold confidentiality and security standards while working with sensitive information. Requirements • Proven experience in data entry or a similar administrative role.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot and correct errors.

• Proficiency in numeric and alphanumeric typing with high accuracy.

• Familiarity with spreadsheet software and basic computer operations.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security.

• Willingness to work onsite for the duration of the contract.
