Description We are looking for an experienced Pre-Litigation Paralegal to join our team in San Diego, California. As part of this Contract position, you will play a vital role in managing pre-litigation processes, ensuring cases are handled efficiently and accurately. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a strong background in civil litigation and case management.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings and discovery requests.

• Manage case files and track deadlines to ensure timely completion of legal tasks.

• Conduct legal research and gather supporting documentation for pre-litigation cases.

• Organize and prepare trial materials, including exhibits and witness statements.

• Coordinate with attorneys to ensure seamless communication and case progression.

• Facilitate the propounding of discovery and responses to discovery requests.

• Maintain case management software to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

• Collaborate with team members to strategize and plan for trial preparation.

• Monitor case developments and provide updates to attorneys and clients as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in civil litigation.

• Proficiency in drafting pleadings, discovery requests, and other legal documents.

• Familiarity with trial preparation processes and case management software.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to conduct legal research and analyze case information effectively.

• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with attorneys and clients.

• Knowledge of litigation procedures and discovery rules.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or paralegal certification preferred.
