Description

We are looking for a skilled Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Broomfield, Colorado on a Part-Time contract basis. This role focuses on commercial litigation and offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with 3-5 years of experience in handling complex legal matters. Ideal candidates will possess strong courtroom expertise and familiarity with Rule 69 examinations, as well as a solid understanding of summons, complaints, and commercial collections.

Responsibilities:

• Manage commercial litigation cases from initiation through resolution, ensuring effective representation of clients.

• Draft, file, and respond to legal documents such as summons and complaints in both state and federal courts.

• Prepare and execute Rule 69 examinations, including developing strategies and creating necessary documentation.

• Represent clients during hearings, trials, mediations, and settlement discussions.

• Conduct thorough legal research on case law, statutes, regulations, and procedural requirements.

• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop and refine litigation strategies.

• Lead discovery processes, including depositions, interrogatories, and document reviews.

• Negotiate settlements and handle commercial collections when applicable.

• Maintain detailed and organized case files and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Requirements • Juris Doctor (JD) degree with active bar membership in the applicable state.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial litigation.

• Proven courtroom experience, including motion practice, oral arguments, and trial preparation.

• Proficiency in Rule 69 examination procedures and related documentation.

• Strong skills in drafting and responding to summons and complaints.

• Experience in commercial collections is highly preferred.

• Exceptional legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.

• Excellent organizational abilities and clear communication skills.
