Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Clerk to join a dynamic hospitality team in New York, New York. This contract-to-permanent position involves providing essential support to the Banquet Department, focusing on union payroll processing and administrative tasks related to events. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, possess strong organizational skills, and demonstrate proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Process union payroll accurately and in compliance with applicable regulations.

• Manage administrative tasks related to banquet events, ensuring smooth operations.

• Utilize payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Dayforce, and Ceridian to complete payroll functions efficiently.

• Perform audits to verify payroll accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Collaborate with the team to maintain compliance with union agreements and policies.

• Prepare and maintain detailed records and reports for payroll and administrative activities.

• Support benefit-related functions for union employees as needed.

• Assist with accounts payable and other accounting tasks when required.

• Leverage Microsoft Excel to manage data and create reports.

• Ensure timely and accurate handling of payroll and administrative processes. Requirements • Proven experience with union payroll processing and related administrative tasks.

• Proficiency in payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Dayforce.

• Strong knowledge of accounting functions, including accounts payable and auditing.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for managing data and generating reports.

• Familiarity with benefit functions and compliance requirements for union employees.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
