Description We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Lancaster, South Carolina. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proven ability to manage financial operations effectively. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth functioning of accounting processes within a collaborative, small-team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of full charge bookkeeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.

• Utilize QuickBooks Desktop to manage accounting tasks, including data entry and financial reporting.

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently and accurately.

• Perform thorough bank reconciliations to maintain up-to-date financial records.

• Handle full-cycle payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

• Maintain detailed records for construction accounting, ensuring proper allocation of expenses.

• Prepare financial statements and reports to assist in decision-making.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and alignment on financial matters.

• Address and resolve discrepancies in financial records or transactions.

• Assist with retirement account management and related financial tasks. Requirements • Proven experience in full charge bookkeeping with a strong understanding of accounting principles.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and familiarity with its functionalities.

• Expertise in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Demonstrated ability to perform accurate and timely bank reconciliations.

• Knowledge of full-cycle payroll procedures and compliance requirements.

• Experience in construction accounting or similar industry-specific bookkeeping.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team setting.
