Description

Robert Half is looking for a full-time Paralegal to join a growing plaintiff’s personal injury and workers' compensation law firm in Chicago, Illinois. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment while honing your litigation skills and contributing to meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities:

+ Manage attorney calendars and maintain docket schedules.

+ Draft, review, and prepare legal documents and correspondence.

+ Order and organize medical records and billing statements.

+ File documents with courts and agencies (electronic and physical filings).

+ Communicate professionally with clients, witnesses, and third parties.

+ Negotiate and resolve liens and subrogation interests.

+ Assist with case preparation for hearings, depositions, and trials.

Requirements

Requirements:

+ Prior experience at a plaintiff’s personal injury law firm strongly preferred.

+ Familiarity with Smokeball case management software is a plus.

+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
