Description

We are looking for a skilled Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Queens, New York. This Contract to permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in bookkeeping and financial management. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in QuickBooks and have a thorough understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Perform comprehensive bank account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.

• Utilize QuickBooks to record and track financial transactions efficiently.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports and records.

• Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly.

• Handle data entry tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.

• Collaborate with other departments to address bookkeeping needs and provide financial insights.

• Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Maintain organized financial documentation for easy accessibility and reference.

Requirements • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other relevant accounting software.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

• Demonstrated ability to perform bank reconciliations accurately.

• Excellent data entry skills with a focus on precision.

• Solid understanding of financial principles and practices.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
