Overview

A sophisticated California law firm with a strong presence in Century City is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant/Litigation Secretary to support attorneys handling complex business and real estate disputes. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys managing fast-moving cases and serving as a key organizational anchor for a busy litigation team.

The practice focuses on high-value commercial matters, real estate disputes, and related litigation requiring precision, discretion, and proactive support.

Key Responsibilities

+ Prepare, format, and proofread pleadings, motions, and correspondence

+ Handle e-filing in California state and federal courts

+ Maintain attorney calendars, deadlines, and case dockets

+ Coordinate depositions, hearings, and client meetings

+ Manage litigation files and assist with trial preparation as needed

Requirements

Qualifications

+ 3+ years of litigation legal assistant or litigation secretary experience

+ Strong knowledge of California court procedures and filing rules

+ Excellent organizational and document-management skills

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and PDF software

+ Ability to work on-site in Century City a minimum of 3 days per week
