Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will oversee critical financial processes, including managing outstanding accounts and ensuring timely collections. This is a Contract to permanent position, providing an excellent opportunity for skill development within the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Review outstanding business accounts to identify and address past due balances.

• Prepare and maintain aging reports to monitor account statuses.

• Conduct outbound business-to-business collections calls, managing high volumes effectively.

• Resolve customer inquiries related to overdue accounts, ensuring a positive resolution.

• Support various accounts receivable tasks as needed to maintain departmental efficiency.

• Utilize Excel, Word, and company-specific systems to perform daily operations.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate billing and cash application processes.

• Maintain organized records of cash activity and payment histories.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all collections activities. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable, including cash applications and commercial collections.

• Strong background in high-volume collections, preferably in a call center environment.

• Proficiency in Excel and Word, with the ability to adapt to company-specific software systems.

• Familiarity with billing and cash activity processes.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to address customer concerns.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices in accounts receivable operations.
